The story of the Cannon Street YMCA All-Stars, inspired by true events, is about ordinary things, like baseball, made extraordinary by the circumstances and prejudices of the time.  When the team makes the state championship, the 61 all-white Little League teams in the tournament refuse to play the Cannon Street All-Stars.  It is the story of one team’s determination and hope for a changing future.
