Bitty Bunny has lost his good friend Robbie Rabbit and he is grieving in his grandmother’s kitchen. As Bitty Bunny tries to come to terms with his despair, his grandmother helps him to search his heart and adjust, without forgetting his friend, to life without Robbie.
This resource can be read as a storybook to children or it can be reproduced and students can personalize the pages. Most of the pages include a question that the student answers orally or through illustration. These responses give solutions and answers to the children’s confusion and sadness.
Counselors can never have enough grief and loss resources and this combination of bibliotherapy and interaction will give solace and comfort to young people who have lost someone near and dear to them.
