Use the activities in this book along with the storybook, Priscilla & the Perfect Storm, to teach academics while promoting social skill development. Activities correlate to Common Core literacy standards covering topics such as sequencing, cause and effect, problem solving and making inferences. Discussion questions involving the story help students develop critical thinking skills and thoroughly explore the positive and negative sides of perfectionism. Students will learn to recognize frustration and discover healthy ways to deal with it at home and school.
