General
At this time, we do not provide any direct services for children and adolescents.
We do not conduct testing and assessments directly with children and adolescents. We do offer support and resources for professionals who conduct testing and assessments.
Goldstein Memorial Library
BICA’s Goldstein Memorial Library is not a lending library. You are welcome to use the materials in the library, but due to the historical nature of many out-of-print items, materials are not permitted to be checked out.
In general, the library is open to the public during BICA office hours (Monday – Friday, 9:30 am-5:30 pm and weekends and evenings by chance or by appointment). However, please call ahead (651-484-5510) to make sure the library is available and not reserved for a meeting or training.

The library/training room features flexible seating – tables and chairs that are easily moveable into classroom, theater, U-shaped, hollow square and board room layouts. Classroom seating capacity is approximately 30-35 (without social distancing).
BICA Discount Bookstore
We offer educational resources (books, media, games, posters, manipulatives, teaching tools, etc.) and gifts from more than 100 publishers and manufacturers. Our in-store stock is extensive and our online store features nearly 2000 products. We try to keep a wide variety in stock, however, if we do not have an item, we would be happy to attempt to secure it for you.
We attempt to be extremely flexible to meet the needs of our customers. We accept cash, checks, purchase orders from organizations and credit cards (online, phone, or in-person).
Yes. We are happy to generate a quote. Sometimes our organization customers prefer to send us a list of items or send us a copy of their shopping cart. We are happy to generate a quote that can be submitted to your administration/billing department.
We support our customers who work with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges. Our discount bookstore offers 10% off list prices (with few exceptions due to manufacturer regulations). We also offer free shipping for all orders over $100. Contact us for large quantity/large order discounts.
Training & Consultation
We offer training and consultation in a variety of formats that could range from a single-day keynote presentation or program evaluation to a multi-day workshop or ongoing program development and consultation. Our goal is to help those who work with children and adolescents to be most effective. Share your situation or challenge with us and let’s work together to create a solution.
We offer some trainings and workshops at our training facility near St. Paul, Minnesota. We are often contracted by organizations across the country to bring our trainings to their locations. We make every attempt to make our contracted trainings affordable and we are sometimes able to coordinate multiple trainings to minimize travel expenses.
Trainings in our facility have a per person registration fee. Contracted trainings and consultation are billed at daily rates or project rates plus travel expenses.
We are always interested in working with like-minded professionals who provide training to improve services for troubled children and youth. Please contact us to share your expertise.
